HELP BUILD IT!   Habitat for Humanity homes are built mainly by volunteers led by skilled core crew volunteers. The skilled core homebuilding crew volunteers help teach unskilled volunteers how to perform the tasks for the work day and guide the work of other skilled volunteers.

Habitat volunteers are welcome Monday through Saturday. (Please follow the directions below if you are interested in volunteering). The first shift is from 7 to 11 a.m., and the second shift is from noon to 2:30 p.m. You do not have to stay the entire time in order to volunteer. Any time you are able to give is of benefit to Habitat. Be sure to bring your lunch and tools.

ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST BE AT LEAST 16 YEARS OLD to be on the construction site. All volunteers should register online, read the safety policy and sign a volunteer waiver. Volunteers 16 and 17 must obtain written permission from a parent or guardian to volunteer.

Individual Construction Volunteers
If you are an individual wanting to volunteer on the construction site, go to VOLUNTEER NOW, read the welcome message and register as a user of the volunteer registration site. Then follow the registration wizard to sign up for the build days you want to volunteer.

Group Construction Volunteers
Often church groups and employee groups work together on the same day(s).  If you are with a group interested in volunteering, please email or call Alaina Griggs, volunteer coordinator, at (812) 423-5623, ext. 33.
