Faith Relations »
The Interfaith Council is an advisory group with broad representation from a diverse group of faith communities in Evansville. Habitat for Humanity of Evansville strives for representation on the Interfaith Council from all major Christian and non-Christian faiths. Council members serve as advocates for the Habitat ministry and work to make simple, decent and affordable housing for all people a matter of conscience and action.

Responsibilities

  Encourage prayer, volunteerism and financial support of the Habitat ministry in respective faith communities and in the community at large.
Assist in the planning, marketing and implementation of the annual Ministerial Breakfast, Building on Faith observance and other activities that enhance Habitat’s faith relations program.
Promote an attitude of mutual respect and appreciation for all faith traditions.
