The Perigo-Prickett Society, founded in 2000, is a recognition society that honors those individuals who develop an estate plan or other deferred gift arrangement that will ultimately benefit Habitat for Humanity of Evansville.
The Society honors two gentlemen, Jim Perigo and Jim Prickett, who worked tirelessly to establish Habitat for Humanity of Evansville and played significant roles in the founding of Habitat for Humanity International in Americus, Georgia, in the early 1980s. Dr. Jim Prickett is associate pastor at Old North United Methodist Church in Evansville. Jim Perigo is an active member of Bethel United Church of Christ in Evansville and has led his congregation in sponsoring Habitat homes.
How do you become a member?
What do members of the Perigo-Prickett Society receive? A plaque recognizing charter members of the Perigo-Prickett Society will be inscribed and displayed in a suitable location in the Habitat for Humanity of Evansville office. Charter members are those who have informed Habitat for Humanity of Evansville of their planned gift prior to January 1, 2010. A donor’s desire for anonymity will be respected.
For more information on how you can help support Habitat for Humanity of Evansville, contact Sr. Jane Michele McClure, development director, at (812) 423-5623 or email her. |
