Habitat for Humanity of Evansville continues to grow and evolve to meet the needs of the many hardworking families in Vanderburgh and Posey counties.  Traditionally, we have focused on building simple, decent homes to improve the lives of our partner families.  Housing is just one aspect that affects the quality of life, however.  Education, health, safety, good jobs and spirituality are just as vital to live a full and enriching life.  That's why for the past two years, we have been working with multiple community partners on the Glenwood Community Development Initiative and are now taking a more holistic attempt to revitalize the Glenwood neighborhood.  This initiative addresses all these issues, an ambitious dream but one that we believe is well worth our efforts.
